This is the design for the blog portion of HammerHead Blog Designs.

The driving idea in this design was the name HammerHead. I also wanted to keep the look of the blog pretty simple and clean. I found a nice free water image to use for a background and Pam found some hammerhead sharks to swim around. I liked the font style Pam had used for another graphic somewhere and asked her to use it in the banner creation. Initially, I had wanted to do some rotating banners, but I liked the look of this banner design and decided to just have this one. Pam also did some buttons for the sidebar that help in branding HammerHead Blog Design.

I inserted some open source show/hide scripts from Scripty Goddess for the comments and the extended entries. I think this makes the site more reader-friendly. I know I don't like opening and closing windows to read comments or being taken to another window to read the rest of the post. As they add a miniscule amount to the page load times, I s=install them as a matter of fact into all my complete site designs.
