Construction Zone!

Sorry for the light no posting for the last couple of days.

I've been completing a couple of site re-designs for pamibe, She Who Will Be Obeyed, and Civilization Calls. Plus I tweaked a skin I did for Jim over at Snooze Button Dreams. Go check out all them when you have a chance.

While I was at it, I decided to re-work my sidebar. Now you may think this is a simple operation. In most cases, yes. But one week-end I had a brain fart and did some weird and wild stuff to my index site... basically I put everything in modules so I could include the modules in different pages and not have to recode every page when I wanted to change something. If you look at my archive pages and permalink pages, you can see what I did. Anyway, that's all fine and dandy, but if you ever decide to make major changes, it makes the job much more difficult than it has to be.

After much pulling of hair, gnashing of teeth, and drinking of beer, I'm still not finished! But it's to a point where I can leave it till next week-end.

Here's what I did:

• Moved Madfish Willie group up underneath The Rott logo
• Posted the Madfish Willie Baby Picture
• Listed the sites Madfish Willie HammerHead Blog Design has completed to date
Listed some Attaboys from the site owners Posted a PayPal account for HammerHead Blog Design. You can also tip out The Bartender here.
• Re-worked all my link groupings. The labels speak for themselves. I'm not finished with this part yet so be patient.
• Posted a group of links for the Corner of the Bar Gang, complete with brand new logo designed by pamibe.
• Posted a group of links for the Corner of the Bar Babes, complete with brand new logo designed by pamibe.
• Made a new group for Frnak complete with absolutely no linkage!
• Posted a new grouping called Juicy Drinks of sites that I think look really cool. I need to add to this one so don't give me any shit if your site isn't up here yet.
• Combined all my archive thingys into one group. I like it a lot better this way. what do you think?
• Deleted the Recent Posts group. Hey they were all still on the page. Maybe I could insert it and pull up the 10 posts that have just gone off the page?
• Put all my affiliation logos together after the links. And I joined the Axis of Martinis and United Socierty of Unusually Responsible People.
• Insert a new group for site credits with my blog host Pixy Misa, banner designer pamibe, and site designer HammerHead.
• Grouped all the goofy site related stuff together at the bottom.

Shit, that was a pretty major undertaking. Anyway, I like the new ordering.

Almost forgot!! I changed the Christmas background image to a New Years Eve background image! That's it... until next time....
